Where are the workshops and show being held?

  • Friday Night Workshop and Iraqi Dance Party will be held at Bablyon Cafe @ 2257 Lenox Rd NE, Atlanta, Georgia

  • Saturday Workshops will be held at Atlanta Fusion Bellydance @ 1015 Collier Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 (404) 355-0807

How do I get there?

  • Air Travel - If you are flying into Atlanta, you will be arriving at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport . Since you will be traveling about 30-45minutes north to the Roswell area, the easiest method of travel around the city would be by car. There are plenty of rental car agencies at the airport that you can book with.

  • MARTA, the local public transit, has a train that travels north on the red line to the North Spring station. While this gets you further north, it does not get you as far as the Roswell area. This train is an option, but you would need someone to pick you up and get you the rest of the way.

  • Carpool/Ride Share-If you would like to share a ride or need a roommate, we highly suggest that you post your request to the Gulf Dance Weekend event page

 

Where do I stay?

 

  • While there are many choices, we suggest that you book a hotel on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, near Steve’s Live Music(Saturday Night Show). This will give you easy driving access to all of the weekend event venues. Close to 285, the area features many great restaurants and easy spots for shopping.This area also features many hotels ranging in price and easy access to GA 400.
